Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This policy explains how Chapar (4par.app) handles information when you browse travel and shipping offers, sign in, publish an offer, or contact another user.
Information we collect
We store account information provided by your chosen sign-in method, such as a provider account identifier, name, username, email address, profile picture, or phone number. The fields depend on the provider and your settings. We also store information you submit, including offers, travel locations and dates, item details, contact information, uploaded files, favorites, reports, and support requests. Technical records can include IP addresses, browser information, session records, security events, and records of terms acceptance.
Google and other sign-in providers
Google sign-in requests only basic identity information (openid, email, and profile). We use it to authenticate you, create or link your account, and display your profile. Google sign-in does not give Chapar access to your Gmail, Drive, or contacts. Other enabled sign-in providers supply the identity information described above. Your provider authenticates you; Chapar does not receive your provider password. For email sign-in, Resend processes your email address and delivers a one-time login code. We store a keyed hash of the code, its expiry and verification attempts to secure sign-in.
Imported Telegram offers and automated processing
Chapar imports offers from configured Telegram sources and stores source references and relevant message content, which may contain usernames, contact details, travel plans, and attachments. Automated processing, including OpenAI services, may process source text to extract structured offer details. Extracted information can contain mistakes. If an imported offer contains your information, you can report it in the app or email us with its link to request correction or removal. Deleting a Chapar account does not remove the original Telegram message.
Permission for social-media imports
Signing in or linking a social account provides the identity information described above; it is not blanket permission to crawl that account or publish its posts. Any authorization for a social-media import must identify the content and source, the information to be collected, and whether it will be displayed publicly. AI processing requires separate, specific permission as described in our Terms and must comply with the source platform's rules. These policy disclosures do not themselves record your consent or grant permission on behalf of other people. You may request corrections, removal, or withdrawal of an import authorization at support@4par.app. Where ownership has been verified and editing controls are available, you can also correct the information in Chapar yourself. This does not edit or delete the original post on the source platform.
How we use information
We use information to provide sign-in and account management, show and search offers, enable user contact, maintain favorites, process reports and support requests, prevent abuse, and diagnose service problems. Location searches are used to find relevant places and routes; configured location services, such as Google, may process search text. We do not sell your personal information or use Google sign-in information for advertising.
What others can see
Offers and associated public details may be visible to visitors and search engines. Contact details are made available through the app's contact flow, subject to its access controls. Only share content and contact information you intend others to use. When you follow a contact link, such as Telegram or email, your communication takes place with that service and recipient. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.
Service providers and other disclosures
We use providers for hosting, storage, authentication, message delivery, location lookup, and automated offer processing. They process information needed for those functions. If you make an optional contribution, Stripe processes payment details; Chapar stores contribution and transaction records rather than full card numbers. Authorized administrators may access information to support users and investigate abuse. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Cookies and browser storage
Chapar uses cookies to maintain login sessions, secure sign-in, and record terms acceptance. Browser storage remembers preferences such as language, theme, dismissed hints, and temporary navigation state. Clearing storage or blocking cookies may sign you out or reset these preferences. Installing the app can also cache application files on your device.
Retention and account deletion
Account and offer data are retained while needed to operate the service. You can request deletion through your profile's account-deletion option or by emailing us. Self-service deletion removes the account and its web-created offers; imported Telegram offers may remain with the account association removed. Ask separately for removal of imported content that contains your information. Accounts with moderation history require administrator handling. Some security, moderation, payment, and terms-acceptance records, and copies in logs or backups, may remain after deletion. Retention depends on the record's purpose and applicable obligations; deletion is not a promise of immediate removal from every system or from copies held by other users or search engines.
Your choices and security
You can edit available profile and offer fields, manage linked sign-in methods, revoke provider access through that provider, and request access, correction, or deletion by email. Revoking a provider's access does not itself delete your Chapar account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including objection, restriction, portability, or a complaint to a privacy regulator. We use HTTPS, session protections, and access controls, but no system is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its revision date when our practices change. For significant changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate and seek consent where required before using information for a new purpose.
Privacy questions and requests
